I am based in Liestal, Switzerland, where we have one of our innovation centers. In January 2024 I took over the responsibility for the medical business as Global Director. Before that, I was in charge of the global business development for the medical sector for three years and was heavily involved in defining and driving the Ewellix global medical strategy.

 

I have more than 18 years of experience in linear actuation and motion solutions used in medical devices. Over the years I built a far-reaching internal and external network, an excellent understanding of our customers’ needs, and how we can support them with our products and solutions.

 

Digitalization and connectivity are huge global trends. It is all about improving efficiency and productivity, but also improving the comfort and ergonomics of patients and caregivers. Integration of smart technology into our actuators and columns will be a key driver, along with the modularity of our platforms. We need to look forward and understand what our customers and their customers’ future needs will be and provide the right solutions.

 

In my role as director, I am responsible for defining and rolling out a clear vision and strategy for our medical business. An important part of it is shaping the product roadmap and our portfolio together with product management and product development but also developing and executing growth strategies with our regional sales teams.

 

Driving the change and striving for improvement day by day is important to me!

 

Even though we are a company with a long and successful history, we are also a new company that has high agility. It is very demanding, but also very exciting because we have great potential, and we can all make a difference every day.
