Ewellix is a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications and mobile machinery. In this role you will work in a team that creates new electromechanical linear actuators products used to replace hydraulic in mobile equipment such as excavators, aerial work platforms and AGVs or stationary equipment in factory automation or medical applications. Your work includes:
- Develop innovative and competitive embedded systems (Hard- and Software) with smart control functions, advanced firmware functionalities, field bus communication and analytics.
- Define hard- and software architectures based on customer requirements.
- Do electronics designs, like schematics, dimensioning of components and layouts of PCBs.
- Create firmware for the developed hardware.
- Implement solutions starting from mock-ups, through prototypes to full scale manufacturing. Perform verification and validation for each stage of the design.
- Consult manufacturing teams for product lifecycle management.
- Work in a global project setup with customers, sales and suppliers. Collaborate and drive projects across borders with our internal and external development teams.
To be successful in this role you need the following qualification:
- Academic degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in developing embedded hard- and software and managing projects with a hands-on mentality.
- Proficient experience in designing electronics circuits and boards, ideally experience in Altium Designer available.
- Experience in programming / scripting languages, such as embedded C/C++ and Python.
- Ideally experience with common agile development tools as Jira, GIT and CI/CD.
- Ideally experience with industry standards in EMC, functional safety and bus systems like CAN J1939/Open, Ethernet, etc.
- Good communication skills, fluent in English (German is a plus) to collaborate with international colleagues and customers alike.
